After becoming the president for the second term, Trump showed his good, bad, and ugly side to India, China, and the world. For a few dollars more, he displayed his arrogance and power. An unpopular US president whom the voters regret for having elected him to power. Many believe Trump is the beginning of the downfall of USA dominance in the world. He is making a mockery of the agreements, laws, trade, and high tariff. Americans are slowly realizing they made a grave mistake by electing him again. Soon countries like India, China, Brazil, Mexico, and others will stand up to him and react, which may prove detrimental to the US. It has started happening. Acting as Mr. Know all, his poor knowledge or half-knowledge on serious subjects or his advisors are biased or stupid will eventually lead him to unpopularity and his downfall.

Modi campaigned with 'Dobara Trump', 'Namaste Trump', and 'My Friend Trump' exhibiting his closeness to Trump without realizing politicians and Trump can’t be trusted. In return, got a high tariff, called India a dead economy, and, to further insult, said, we will help Pakistan in oil exploration, and India can import oil from Pakistan. Also, after Operation Sindoor, he invited the perpetrator of the Pahalgam attack, Gen. Munir, for lunch. This exposes Trump’s double standard antics.

American Expert warns, Trump undoing decades of progress. In an article for the Carnegie Endowment, Evan A Feigenbaum, a former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State who worked on Indo-US relations, warned that Trump’s approach could cause long-term harm. He wrote, ‘After more than two decades of bipartisan efforts to strengthen Indo-US ties including progress made during Trump’s first term, the president now seems to be tearing down what took years to build. Recently, Trump imposed a 25 per cent tariff on Indian exports, and now he is threatening to raise tariffs on Indian pharmaceutical exports to 250 per cent.

SBI Card        durex        Myntra

How is Trump damaging US-India relations? In a recent interview with CNBC, Donald Trump said he plans to slowly increase tariffs on medicines imported from India. He stated: ‘We’ll start with a small tariff on pharmaceuticals, but within a year or a year and a half, it will go up to 150 per cent, and eventually to 250 per cent, because we want those medicines to be made in US.’ Some call him a moron and some say he is a smart cookie. He may be working for American growth but at what cost, spoiling international relations and equations. And some analysts say he is the beginning of the end of American dominance in the world.

The headlines these days—America is getting savvy with Pakistan. Trump seals oil deal with Pakistan. Some experts say he is doing this as Americans need a launchpad in Pakistan to attack Iran. This may be partly true, but Trump’s love for Pakistan is something more. The announcement of oil exploration is mainly to keep Pakistan in good humor for a few days. After this statement, Pakistanis had great dreams of being rich like the Gulf countries, rolling in money. Some even said, we will lend money to the IMF and leave India far behind, and we will be the top economy of the world. The main reason for this love is somewhere else, given below in this post. Just after a couple of days, the balloon was busted when there was a statement from Trump: Pakistan is buying American oil, at a higher price and the oil tankers will soon reach Pakistan. Pakistanis don’t know what hit them. They are being taken for a ride. And realized that Field Marshal Munir’s American visit and lunch with Trump has proved to be very costly for Pakistan.

Field Marshal Munir has got another invitation from America. Trump wants him to do something more. Remember Nixon and Kissinger in the seventies. A love for Pakistan for their self-interest and Pakistan trying to cash in.  The US and Trump cannot be trusted. They are not bothered about terrorist attacks in India nor the loss of life and property. If foreigners, especially Americans, had died in the attacks, the response would have been different. Their self-interest counts paramount. A country where international terrorist Osama Bin Laden was sheltered, found, and killed, and a state with a list of UN-designated terrorists still hiding and active—the US loves Pakistan. Double standard at its best. You will know why.

Trump’s love for Pakistan? Many may think, Pakistan’s location, to keep an eye on Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia, India and check Chinese influence in Pakistan. This may be partly right but there is something more vital for Americans. Sooner or later Pakistan will be trouble as China, their savior will not like Pakistan bending to American dictum.

This is getting interesting! Suddenly America, China, and others love Pakistan. And nobody talks about Pahalgam terrorists but is concerned about attacks in Baluchistan. Remember China screwed America by banning rare minerals when Trump started levying high tariffs. America badly needs these rare minerals for making weapons, mobiles, electric vehicles, and many other things. They even tried to extract it from under the sea. There are reports that apart from China, it's available in Gilgit Baltistan. This is what America wants.

Axis Bank        Wow        mamaearth

This area is rich in various mineral deposits, including rare earth minerals. Geological surveys have confirmed the presence of gold, copper, nickel, and cobalt in at least ten newly discovered blocks within the region. Additionally, there are reports of lithium/lepidolite in the Shengus area and widespread occurrences of other minerals like arsenic, bauxite, and iron. These findings suggest the potential for Gilgit-Baltistan to become a significant contributor to Pakistan's mineral wealth.

Gilgit-Baltistan, formerly known as the Northern Areas, is a region administered by Pakistan as an administrative territory and consists of the northern portion of the larger Kashmir region, which has been the subject of a dispute between India and Pakistan since 1947 and between India and China since 1959. And India claims this territory as its own. Here it gets a bit complicated.

Hence the sudden love for Pakistan. Under Pakistan, it will be easy to manage, but with India, it will be difficult. It suits the US and the West. And China wants to deprive America of this, as they have banned its export to the US. And China is trying to exert pressure on Pakistan so that Americans are kept away from this. It won’t be easy for America with India claiming it as its territory and China firm that America doesn’t get the rare minerals. This love affair is sure to get messy.

Thrilling Test series between England and India

VLCC        Samsung        Zandu

The Test series between England and India has been touted as one of the thrilling in recent memory, featuring record-breaking performances, fiercely contested sessions, and unforgettable mome

nts that manifested the true essence of Test cricket. Many agree that the final 2-2 result was fair.

Mind-blowing stats that defined the England vs India Test series:

England and India accumulated 7,187 runs in the series, which is the most in a five-match Test series and the second overall in any Test series.

India scored 3,807 in the Test series against England, the highest-ever in the five-match Test series.

21 centuries were registered in the Test series, joint-most in any Test series.

India scored 12 centuries in a Test series against England, which is a joint record.

England and India scored 50 fifty-plus scores, the joint-most in a Test series.

India had three players, including Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and Ravindra Jadeja, scoring 500+ in the England Test series, marking the first time an Indian trio achieved this milestone in a single Test series.

In 3 out of the 5 Tests, the first-innings lead or deficit was less than 30 runs. This is very rare as only four Test series have featured three matches with such small first-innings gaps.

This Test series witnessed 17 different players on the Honors Board for centuries and fifers, which is a record.

-21 centuries and 8 five-wicket hauls, the record for the most combined individual milestones (29) in a single Test series.

-45 times players were bowled out, which is the most in a Test series since 1984 and the most since 1976 in England.

Many cricket pundits in India and abroad had forecast a score of 3-1, 4-1 or 5-0 whitewash in this series, as this new young Indian team was without big names Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ashwin who had retired recently from Test cricket. And this team proved everyone wrong with every member contributing with bat or ball when it was needed the most. Though the score shows 2-2, the experts say, it is as if India has won the series beating England in England.

Air India was founded on 15 October 1932 by JRD Tata of the Tata group and was then known as Tata Airlines. After World War II it was nationalized by the government of India in 1953 was renamed Air India. Attempts were made to privatize Air India, and from 2006 onwards, it suffered losses after its merger with Indian Airlines. Another privatization attempt was launched in 2017, which concluded with ownership of the airline and associated properties returning to the Tata Group after 69 years.

Air India now operates flights to domestic and Asian destinations through its subsidiary Air India express. And Air India operates certain domestic and short-haul international and long-haul international routes covering major cities around the world. They are trying their best, but the best is not enough. The fact is Air India is having a tough time and there’s a lack of confidence. Besides Air India has to compete with other airlines around the globe.

Before the Tatas took over Air India, in the early years the national carrier, the airline was popular and recognized worldwide for its hospitality, attractive interior of aircrafts representing Indian culture, and good service. Their mascot, Maharaja proudly represented all this. But over the years, after a few decades, the downward slide started in the eighties. Ex-employees of Air India accept the company was overstaffed; the attitude of staff and workers was like that of a government employee, careless and exploiting the available facilities, including free flights to employees even in profitable sectors. The once profit-making airline, loved by passengers worldwide, began to decay and pile up losses. The reputation of the Maharaja eroded, and regular Air India passengers preferred other, more efficient airlines. It started to lose business in many different profitable sectors. Air India, once a giant, was now struggling to survive and even to pay salaries. And people flying home from Gulf countries, a profitable route would say, ‘Air India me suffer karo’ instead of ‘Air India me Safar Karo,’ due to the poor service.

After Tatas took over Air India, though some cosmetic changes have happened, nothing much has changed. Staff and workers behave like careless government employees; the attitude seems to be the same, though Tatas are trying to inculcate the new work culture. It might take time. Air India hostesses and their uniforms with attractive traditional design and color combinations were once the envy of other airlines. Today the old silk sari, kurta and trousers, and blazer remind me of the glorious days.

Some of the hostesses, I think from Air India Express wear something like a half saree and pyjama, which looks rather out of sorts, awkward and funny. I wonder who selected this as the uniform for the hostesses. I spoke to a couple of hostesses during the flights; they themselves don’t like it. Say, it's uncomfortable and feels odd. It's neither a saree nor a pyjama and looks ordinary. Air India should look into this and provide them with something more elegant and comfortable. This stands nowhere when you see the elegant uniforms of other airlines. The elegant sari, blazer and the kurta/kurti with trouser is liked by the hostesses and admired by the passengers. Reminds you of the comfortable and glorious Maharaja days. It has that Indian touch, elegant and Indianness which is liked specially by Indian passengers flying in and out, even foreigners love it

After taking over Vistara, the Tatas seem to be confused about whether to maintain a separate identity or merge it fully with Air India. Some experts suggest 3 entities - Air India for international travel, Indian Airlines for domestic travel and Vistara for both domestic and international. These three entities will be easy to handle, creating three strong brands.  Air India should look into it. Aviation, business, and marketing experts know better. The decision should help to bring back the good old days, the Maharaja travel of Air India. Air India and Air India Express is very confusing the poor service remains the same except for the nomenclature.

After the Ahmedabad crash, and some other incidents, the reputation of the airline has taken a real beating. Air India should bring back the trust with proper service, right attitude, safe flights, and fit aircraft. And the staff should be trained in public relations so they are efficient, polite, and helpful while interacting with people. Times change, things change, one has to change, but sometimes old is gold! I hope Air India gets its confidence back and will soon be a liked and becomes the favorite airline especially for Indian travellers who still have soft corner. Automatically foreign passengers will choose to fly Air India. In today’s world safe flying, good service, competitive fares and reaching your destination on time counts. If they can achieve this, Air India will be back in business.

Educated illiterate in Pak!

IndiGo        Axis Bank        Urban Ladder

Pakistan has plenty of them. Recently a senior Pakistani in an interview said, Pakistan is way ahead in technology. Just like our pilots jammed Rafale and hit them, similarly, if India blocks Indus water by making dams, we can open and close the gates of the dams. We can control it from here.

Similarly, another senior Pakistani journalist, Hamid Mir, made a fool of himself by repeating something similar in another talk show and told the anchor not to ask him more about it, as it is a top secret. Another smart Pakistani woman says in a video, we were not aware our technology was so advanced that we could fool, jam and beat the Indians. The women are worse and expose their ignorance fully. Half knowledge and relying on the Pak media is dangerous. They make a fool of themselves and become a laughing stock.

And now there's a statement by the Rafale maker—Pakistanis claim that it shot 3 Indian Rafales during Operation Sindoor, which is inaccurate, seemingly agreeing with CDS Gen. Anil Chauhan's statement on the operation. He had said during war there are damages to both sides but not what Pakistan media has been saying. The truth is slowing coming out and Pakistanis now realize the serious damage caused by India. Pakistanis are all big boast without substance.

Fail to understand how Pakistanis speak so confidently and digest such lies and propaganda, even the educated Pakistanis, after repeatedly taking a beating from India. The majority of Pakistanis believe they won this time too, like they beat India in the earlier 4 wars, forgetting they run after atta and talk about data. They are surviving on loans and borrowing from the IMF. Most of their anchors, political experts, and analysts still speak about Pakistan being the leader of the Islamic world. Their army and ISI being number 1. And try to show the world Pakistan is the main enemy of Israel, and they intend to attack them, forgetting their own PM saying, Beggars can’t be choosers.

On Trump’s invite, Asif Munir went to the US. Many Pakistanis said, He’s a brave man, going to the US to stop Israel from attacking Iran. Little realizing that it would be a costly lunch, with Pak backstabbing Iran as they did with Afghanistan. No wonder people say, for a few dollars Pakistanis can betray their own. Afghans know it very well and are targeting Pakistan.

Mission Impossible Sparks Global Buzz!

Below: The forgotten Indian fighter jet.

..............................................................

The curious case of the British fighter jet stuck in India. The F-35B has been in Thiruvananthapuram airport in the southern state of Kerala since it landed on 14 June. F-35B was caught on Indian radar. The stealth jet no one was supposed to see. When the British jet appeared on Indian radar, it was a testament to India’s real-time surveillance infrastructure meaning standard international flight protocol. Was it a mal-function or a covert operation?.........

After Operation Sindoor and later the Israel-Iran flare-up and missile attacks on each other, a news item that initially didn’t get much attention was the American plane F-35B that took off from a British aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth somewhere in the Indian Ocean and landed at Thiruvananthapuram airport in an emergency drawing global attention. Permission was given to land. The bigger headline, however is India’s remarkable detection of the stealth jet as it neared the Indian air space. Reason given was that the fighter plane was low on fuel while flying over the Indian Ocean on a test flight and subsequent multiple attempts to land on the carrier. According to reliable sources, there’s more to it than just a shortage of fuel. The pilot making and changing statements wasn’t convincing. He refused to park the jet in a hangar and insisted on it being there in the open, irrespective of weather conditions.

This led to speculations and theories. Diplomatic and security formalities are currently underway between India and the Uk, including clearances for incoming British Air Force personnel. The F-35B remains stationed in an open area of the airport and is being guarded by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

The story goes, British Navy fighter jet, the F-35B Lightning II made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport during a military exercise in the Indo-Pacific region. The advance fifth-generation supersonic jet, built by American defense giant Lockheed Martin had taken off from British navy’s aircraft carrier before experiencing a hydraulic failure that forced it to land in India on Saturday night. The arrival of the jet shocked the world not for its presence but because it was identified by the Indian Airforce despite its advance stealth technology. The jet carried Luneburg lenses and the jet was visible by design, not by breach.

SBI Card        durex        TataNEU

India’s IACCS deserves attention, not for breaking stealth, but for functioning flawlessly under pressure. The detection proves integration, not intrusion, and that’s the capability. F-35s in combat mode are built to disappear. This one wasn’t. Spotting a stealth-enabled jet in non-combat flight still requires a network as tight and alert as IACCS – and India had it ready. Americans were disturbed by this whole episode.

The fighter plane was successfully detected by India’s Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS), advance radar many km ahead of Indian airspace. The Indians tried to communicate with the pilot and inform him of approaching Indian airspace. Initially he refused to respond, but once he realized he had been seen and identified, he mentioned he was low on fuel and couldn’t fly back to land on the carrier and requested to land at the nearest airport. The detection is being hailed as a remarkable feat, showcasing India’s growing prowess in air surveillance and defense technology.

The jet was refueled but couldn’t take off due to some technical fault. The British technical team that arrived couldn’t fix the fault. And later they mentioned some hydraulic issue. Here again the technicians couldn’t fix it. And the jet is still parked on the tarmac of the airport. As per information, Americans and Trump want the aircraft taken out from the Kerala airport as soon as possible. TVM airport to charge parking fee for grounded F-35 fighter jet for parking the aircraft in the VIP area and providing security and disturbing the airports routine activities. The amount will be decided by the government.

As per reports, though the US is India’s close ally, what’s it up to? Was it trying to check our defenses and radar system with an intention of entering Indian airspace and flying out quietly without India’s knowledge or to check the F-35B stealth plane to see if it can be detected by India’s radar system? There’s something more to it. Sources say it’s unable to fly as its system has been jammed, possibly by the Indian defense system. On scanning the jet many devices have been found, fixed to the aircraft, like high resolution cameras, sonar and other devices. What was its motive? It not just low-fuel story. A modern advanced fighter plane plans the flight path, distance and fuel for the same plus additional fuel. Something is fishy. The Americans are uneasy about the aircraft being in Indian airport and want it out of India.

The only way to take the jet is to ferry it in a transport plane. Last heard, it will be taken by a transport plane or if repaired will fly back. And DRDO has been able to break the code. Americans don’t want this news to spread, as many allies and other countries have shown interest in this fighter plane. This news could harm the sale prospects of this latest with stealth technology and expensive fighter jet and raise doubts in the minds of buyers. Some buyers have lost interest after this incident. Even India may have second thoughts about buying this aircraft. I can’t vouch for this story, but it seems more likely. Now that the Americans are directly involved after Britain backed out when they realized the Indians know more about this flight and emergency landing. The entire truth will be out soon. Whether it was a malfunction or a covert operation?

As per recent reports, another F-35 tried to enter Indian airspace in Andhra. Again, the jet was seen and identified by the Indian Defense System. It made an U turn and left Indian airspace. This time it was an US fighter jet with an American pilot. Are the Americans trying to test their stealth technology or are they trying to check the capability of Indian Defense System. First a jet is seen around Kerala and now around Andhra. Are the Americans trying to spy and check on the activities at the two major seaports, Cochin in Kerala and Vishakapatanam in Andhra. Besides Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota and Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thumba are located here. Why this sudden interest in South India?

The forgotten Indian fighter jet.

Many are not aware that Tejas is not the first made-in-India fighter jet. In fact: 49 years before Tejas, India had its own fighter — Marut. Marut was developed as part of Jawaharlal Nehru’s dream of attaining self-reliance in the aerospace sector, was handed over to the Dagger squadron of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on April 1, 1967.

Much before Tejas, in 1961, India became the first non-Western nation to build a supersonic-capable jet. Designed with German help, the HF-24 Marut was bold, homegrown and ahead of its time, but it was discontinued before it could truly soar. The HAL HF-24 Marut was an Indian jet fighter aircraft developed and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) during the 1960s and early 70s.

In 1961, India made global aerospace history. On a Bangalore airstrip, a silver-grey fighter jet lifted off the tarmac and soared into the sky. The aircraft was the HF-24. The man in the cockpit was Wing Commander Suranjan Das. And the moment marked India's entry into a special club. The aircraft named the “Marut” (Wind Spirit) entered service from Nov ‘69 with 10 Sqn (Daggers) and finally equipped three squadrons (10, 220 and 31) with an additional AD flight to train radar intercept officers.  A total of 18 trainers designated Mk-ITs were also received.   By the commencement of the 1971 Liberation war with Pakistan only two Squadrons (220 and 10) operated the type from Jodhpur and Uttarlai. Now with India-made Tejas in the sky, Indians forgotten the made-in-India fighter jet.
